2. Sea Freight Services

OceanView provides sea freight services for the transportation of goods internationally. Our services include but are not limited to Full Container Load (FCL), Less than Container Load (LCL), and special cargo handling.

3. Booking and Payment

When booking our services, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. Payment terms are as specified during the booking process. All prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed and paid for.

4. Shipping Documentation

You are responsible for providing all necessary documentation for the shipment, including but not limited to commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. Failure to provide accurate documentation may result in delays, additional costs, or refusal of shipment.

5. Cargo Restrictions

Certain items are prohibited or restricted for shipping. These include but are not limited to dangerous goods, hazardous materials, illegal substances, and perishable items without proper arrangements. OceanView reserves the right to refuse any shipment at its discretion.

6. Liability and Insurance

OceanView's liability is limited as per international shipping conventions and agreements. We recommend that all shipments be adequately insured. Basic insurance is included in our service, but additional coverage may be purchased.

7. Delivery Times

While we strive to meet all estimated delivery times, these are not guaranteed and may be affected by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, port congestion, customs clearance, and other force majeure events.

8. Claims and Disputes

Any claims for loss or damage must be made in writing within 7 days of delivery. Claims made after this period may not be considered. All disputes shall be resolved through negotiation or, if necessary, through arbitration in accordance with international shipping laws.

9. Privacy Policy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found on our website. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

OceanView reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with international maritime law and international shipping conventions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate international arbitration tribunals in accordance with international commercial arbitration rules.
